1. Why should I choose John Peters?
John Peters are a family run furniture retailer with over 55 years of providing customers with well designed, quality products at 'value-for-money' prices. In an era of rapid change in designs and styles, we comb the world to bring our customers the very latest of these in up-to-the-minute materials and patterns, be it in Leather, Fabric, Wood, Metal or Glass. 3. I like to have a good choice - how extensive is yours?
At John Peters we pride ourselves on customer choice and at any one time most of our stores will be showing at least 65 styles of sofa and chairs, plus 20 or so Dining Sets, from designer and contemporary, to the more classical and traditional. Additionally, in some of the larger stores we've up to 25 Beds on display. There's something to suit all tastes.
4. I like my own space whilst browsing - will your sales people follow me around the store and pester me?
Our Managers and Sales Consultants are available to help and assist with your deliberations by providing useful product knowledge and helpful advice on everything from size to availability. They are there to help little or as much as you may require. You won't be pestered, but bear in mind that our personnel are only too pleased to be of assistance and will endeavour to make your buying experience as easy as possible.
5. How long will it take for you to deliver my order?
Stock items are generally available in 2-4 weeks with made to order goods taking between 4-14 weeks. We try to be as open as possible about deliveries in order not to disappoint our customers and we will always attempt to improve on stated dates
6. How much does delivery cost?
We do make a charge for delivery of £40 but this is reflected in the value for money costs of our products. We acknowledge that some of our competitors do not charge for delivery but this is reflected in the charges for their products of a similar quality. Delivery of Furniture is a specialist job and as such, we understand that it's never going to become a collect from the store product. As such, John Peters believe that professional delivery is an essential service and we offer it as standard. We also can offer deliveries outside the Yorkshire region, please ask for costs.
7. I have an old sofa, what shall I do with it?
You have several options in order to dispose of your old furniture. Of course, for a small charge, John Peters can remove it at the time of delivery of your new furniture but as better options, did you know that your local council will remove it FREE OF CHARGE on a telephone call. Or a number of Charities will take items on a similar basis.
8. What if something goes wrong with my sofa?
John Peters take great pride in the quality of the experience and service that we offer. As such, you can rest comfortable in the knowledge that if you do have a problem with your product, our service will be second to none. John Peters only use our own in house technicians who can solve almost all problems within your home.
